Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is set in a quiet, idyllic setting, offering clean and comfortable rooms with tea and coffee facilities. However, the room we had was quite hot, even with the fan on. The service was accommodating with a touch of personalization at the Afternoon Tea Room. The location was perfect despite some minor issues with construction. The dining experience had its ups and downs. Overall, a pleasant stay with room for improvement.
The hotel offered a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were comfortable despite being outdated and the challenging access. The staff were trying their best to assist guests, striking a good balance in service. Although the location was lovely, some aspects could have been improved for a more enjoyable stay.
The hotel rooms were either far too hot or freezing cold, but the warmth was appreciated during the hot weather, and they can accommodate a family of four for a short stay. However, the windows only opened a small amount. The service was exceptional, with a lovely comfy bed, but there were instances of being publicly rude to guests. The location was beautiful and convenient for a nearby wedding venue, just a few miles outside of Windsor. The dining experience was exceptional, with a great selection of food available, although background music was lacking. The facilities were good overall.
The hotel had some issues with the rooms not being air-conditioned, feeling hot, and lacking facilities for a 4-star accommodation. However, the service was delightful with extremely helpful and polite staff. The location was excellent for nature reserves and events, but the dining experience had some shortcomings. Despite that, the hotel had lovely facilities like swimming and gym areas.
I had a lovely stay at this hotel nestled in the countryside not far from Legoland. The rooms were clean, tidy, and reasonably well-equipped, perfect for accommodating a family of four for a short stay. The service was exceptional, creating a relaxing environment, although one staff member on Saturday morning seemed a bit miserable. The location, surrounded by lawn and trees in Burnham Beeches National Park, was both peaceful and convenient for a quick trip to London. The dining experience had some highs and lows, with excellent food offerings but some areas to improve. Overall, a cozy retreat with a few things to look out for.
